Farmer says: Ragi is also known as Finger millet / Nachni. It actually originated in Africa. In India, Karnataka is the largest producer of Ragi and there it is consumed in the form of Ragi Mudde (balls). In Tamil Nadu it is consumed in the form of Ragi Kanji (porridge).
